Materials Research Areas:
Honors:
Fellow of AAAS
Fellow of APS
High Polymer Physics Prize of the APS
Research Description:
Research interests are in theory of soft condensed matter physics. Present activities are on problems associated with biopolymers and bio-membranes, including Coulomb effects in biomolecular assemblies, hydrogen bonding networks, hydrophobic interaction, polar solvents, and polyelectrolyte complexes.
