Graduate Student Christopher Proctor Awarded Whitaker International Program Grant

UCSB Materials graduate student Christopher Proctor has been awarded a 2015/16 Whitaker International Program Scholars post-doc grant to develop organic electronic devices for the treatment of neurological disorders at the École Nationale Superieure des Mines de Saint-Étienne in Gardanne, France.

The Whitaker International Program sends emerging leaders in U.S. biomedical engineering (or bioengineering) overseas to undertake a self-designed project that will enhance their careers within the field. The goal of the program is to assist the development of professional leaders who are not only superb scientists, but who also will advance the profession through an international outlook.
