
Professor Sriram Krishnamoorthy has received the 2026 Young Scientist Award from the International Symposium on Compound Semiconductors (ISCS), presented as part of Compound Semiconductor Week (CSW) 2026 in Kumamoto, Japan. The award recognizes significant achievements in the field of compound semiconductors by scientists under the age of 40. Prof. Krishnamoorthy was honored for his contributions to gallium oxide epitaxial growth and high-performance power electronic devices, including pioneering work on ultra-wide band gap semiconductors for next-generation electronic technologies.
