(goes well with Asian food)
¼ c. + 2 T sugar 2 T fresh lemon juice 2 T finely grated ginger 2 pink grapefruit, sectioned 1 green Thai chile, minced 1 T soy sauce
Combine sugar, lemon juice, and ginger in a saucepan and boil over moderately high heat, then strain.
Toss sectioned grapefruit with chile and 3 T of the ginger-lemon syrup. Let stand 5 minutes. Mix remaining syrup with soy sauce and add to grapefruit before serving.
