Specializes in microelectromechanical systems (MEMS), with recent emphasis on development of micromachining processes for fabrication of high aspect ratio titanium structures (targeted for use in harsh environment applications such as aircraft structures, marine drilling heads and hip implants). Also developing thin film bulk acoustic resonators for use in RF devices such as cellular phone filters.
