Research programs concerned with applications and fundamental science of organic semiconductors for optoelectronic devices, such as LEDs, organic solar cells and two-photon absorption technologies, and for increasing sensitivity and selectivity of homogeneous and heterogeneous biosensors.  Strong synthetic component of research which allows for function-specific design of p-conjugated polymers.   Additional efforts focus on development of new initiator structures that allow for synthesis of polyolefin structures with precise architectures and incorporation of functional groups.
